One of the most common questions we receive is “How much does it cost to replace my deck?” Of course though, there’s so many variables. Considerations we often have to make is how many square feet will we be building, how many steps will be required, is this building an all new structure, or just replacing deck boards, and much more.
However from a high level we can give you some regional averages you can expect in the Sioux Falls metro area (depending on options).
Floor level 12×12 (144 sq feet) with no railing: $8800 - $11,500
Garden level 12×16 (196 sq feet) with railing and half flight of stairs: $15,500 - $21,850
Basement walkout 14×20 (280 sq feet) with railing and full flight of stairs: $25,500 - $32,380

On average, the duration for a 200 sq foot deck (12×16) with demo, footings & framing, railing, and inspections take about 4-6 days, depending on options.

We work off of a first in, first out workflow. For most projects, there is a planning & permitting part of the project (approximately 10% of the project), once that’s paid, your spot on our schedule is reserved. We then email our customers once a month to let them know where their spot is within our project list.

In general, we serve the Sioux Falls metro area (20 mile radius from central Sioux Falls). However, we have 2 exceptions we allow for, depending on the criterial.
We will travel up to an hour outside of Sioux Falls, but there will be an additional travel fee attached to the project (depending on scope, duration, accommodations, etc)
We will travel throughout Eastern South Dakota to deliver any products purchased from us, but there will be a delivery fee attached.
